Deadline Extension Announcement! JLUS Special Issue on Sustainability Challenges in the Arctic: Exploring Land Use Changes and Their Impacts

We are extending the deadline to provide authors with more time to prepare and submit their manuscripts. The new deadline for submissions is 30 June 2024. We believe that this extension will facilitate the submission of high-quality research and contribute to a more comprehensive exploration of the sustainability challenges facing the Arctic.

We welcome original research articles, reviews, and perspectives addressing various aspects of land use changes in the Arctic, including but not limited to:

  • Impacts of climate change on land use patterns
  • Indigenous land management practices and their sustainability
  • Effects of industrial activities on Arctic ecosystems
  • Policy interventions for promoting sustainable land use
  • Socio-economic implications of land use changes in the Arctic
  • Innovative methodologies for studying Arctic land use dynamics

Submission Guidelines:
Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system. Please ensure that your manuscript adheres to the journal’s formatting guidelines and clearly addresses the aims and scope of the Special Issue.
