Special issue out now! Central European Forestry Journal ​

We are happy to announce that a thematic issue of Forest policy and governance research in Baltics, Central Eastern and South-eastern Europe has just been published in Central European Forestry Journal (ISSN 2454-0358), giving young researchers from our region the opportunity to present their work. The issue focuses on key challenges and innovations in
forest policy and governance, bringing together diverse perspectives and new findings from early-career scientists.

About the Journal

Central European Forestry Journal (published as Lesnícky časopis – Forestry Journal until 2016) publishes novel science originating from research in forestry and related fields. The quarterly peer-reviewed Journal is jointly published by the National Forest Centre in Zvolen, Slovakia and by the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences, Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, the Czech Republic. The Journal collaborates with the Paradigm (De Gruyter Open) publisher based on the Journal Publishing Agreement. It publishes papers in the English language.

Aims and scope: The Journal focuses on forestry issues relevant to the European area, mainly to the region of Central Europe. It publishes original papers and review papers of basic and applied research. The scope of the Journal includes silviculture, forest protection, forest management, forest monitoring, forest ecology including production ecology, bioclimatology, forestry economics, forest harvesting technologies, forest constructions and machinery, dendrology, forest genetics, hunting, forest entomology, use of trees in landscaping, relationships between forestry and wood-processing industry etc.
