On 7th April 2025, the EFI Forest Policy Research Network (EFI-FPRN) hosted a successful webinar to celebrate the launch of the book European Forest Policy and Governance by Filip Aggestam. The event brought together a panel of experts to discuss the book’s key insights into the evolving landscape of forest governance in Europe, and to reflect on how policy, practice, and research intersect in this critical field.

Moderated by Gerhard Weiss, the webinar featured a presentation by the author and thoughtful commentaries from Helga Pulzl (EFI), Roman Michalak (UNECE/FAO FTS), and Georg Winkel (Wageningen University).
